Wednesday's prep roundup: Palmer Ridge field hockey dominates, extends winning streak to five

At Palmer Ridge: The Bears went ahead 2-0 at halftime and cruised the rest of the way, adding two more goals in the second half.
Jordyn Isner led with two goals, and Liz Phillips and Abby Hermann each added a goal. Palmer Ridge improved to 9-1-1 overall and extended its winning streak to five games.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, dropped to 3-7-2 and have lost three of their last four matches in Colorado Field Hockey League play.
Regis Jesuit 4, Liberty 0
At Regis Jesuit: The Raiders scored all of their goals in the first half in the shutout win to move to 9-1-2 in the Colorado League standings.
Liberty fell to 2-9-2 overall. The Lancers have not won a game since Sept. 20.
Calhan 3, Elbert 1
At Calhan: The Bulldogs fell in the second set but rebounded to win the nonconference match 25-11, 21-25, 25-16, 25-15.
Calhan has been on a roll, winning its last four games, while Elbert dropped to 9-7 overall.
Thornton 4, Sierra 1
At Sierra: The game was tied at 1-1 at halftime before Thornton racked up three goals in the second half, dropping the Stallions to 4-9 overall.
The Trojans captured their first win of the season to improve to 1-10-2.
Liberty 4, Fountain-Fort Carson 0
At D-20 Stadium: Dawson Calloway, Caleb Norwood, Kylan Crafts-Thimmig and Benjamin Beermann each scored a goal to lift the Lancers to the shutout win and a 3-0 record in the 5A Colorado Springs Metro League standings.
Liberty (8-3-1 overall) took control after a 2-0 halftime lead.
Fountain-Fort Carson dropped to 4-9-1 and 1-4 in the CSML.
