Forecast: Warmer days to hit Colorado Springs before possible snow again
A warm-up begins Tuesday.
According to Gazette news partner KKTV, the forecast calls for some possible light snow along the mountains but expect temperatures to reach the 50s across the Pikes Peak region.
Colorado Springs could see a high near 54 degrees with sunny skies and relatively light winds.
"Enjoy the warm-up while it's here," KKTV said in a report.
Wednesday and Thursday call for similar conditions with highs near 60 and 54 degrees, respectively, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo. But the weather is expected to shift Thursday evening, as a cool down and snowy conditions are forecast to move in.
"It's not looking like a huge snowfall event," KKTV said.
