It's likely the music you love came about thanks largely to Jimmy Iovine and Andre Romelle Young. But maybe you're unfamiliar with those two guys. A new HBO documentary chronicles their unlikely path to the thrones of the entertainment landscape as we know it. "The Defiant Ones" is fun and illuminating. In four parts, it tells of how Iovine emerged from the Brooklyn crowd to work with the likes of John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty, and how Young - otherwise known as Dr. Dre - came straight outta Compton to join him.
