Chances of showers and thunderstorms will continue into Saturday morning before making way for partly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

"Showers will again be possible on Friday, with some wet snow possible in Teller County," according to Gazette news partner KKTV. "Saturday will be cool, with a chance for a spotty shower or two. Rain will likely not be widespread on Saturday."

Friday has a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3 p.m., according to the weather service. After midnight, the rain is expected to mix with snow. Saturday has a 20 percent chance of snow showers before 8 a.m., when the snow is expected to mix with rain. Later in the day, partly sunny skies will emerge.

On Sunday, expect sunny skies and much warmer weather.

The weather service predicted highs of 51 degrees Friday and Saturday, and 71 degrees Sunday.
