Today math lovers celebrate National Pi Day.

Even though there's an actual National Pie Day, many businesses across the country are using the mathematical number 3.14 - hence March 14 - on Tuesday as a way to offer deals on actual pies.

According to ABC News, there are several national businesses with National Pi Day deals, including:

- Boston Market offers a free chicken pot pie with the purchase of an individual meal and drink;

- Domino's offers two select items for $5.99 each or a large three-topping carry-out pizza for $7.99;

- Papa John's offers any two-topping large or pan pizza for $9.99;

- Whole Foods customers get $3.14 off on all large bakery pies and all large take-and-bake pizzas.

While you're at it, don't forget local joints that offer pies, such as these winners in the pie category in The Gazette's Best of the Springs: Village Inn, Mountain Pie Co. and Stir.
